About Melinda Recktenwald
We are thrilled to welcome Melinda to our Rough River group!
My name is Melinda, and I have been coming to Rough River Lake my entire life. My
grandparents lived in Breckinridge County when I was growing up, and my parents
moved from Louisville to make their lake house their permanent home 14 years ago. My
husband, David, and I followed suit 4 years ago, also making our lake house our
permanent residence.
Our son, Connor, is a 2025 graduate of Breckinridge County High School. He is attending Campbellsville University, where he plays baseball. Our daughter, Teagan, goes to St. Romuald. As a family, if we are not at the baseball field, we spend our free time on the water, making memories. My love for Rough River Lake is part of my blood.
Before getting my real estate license, I worked in the corporate world in staffing/HR.
Getting my license and working in real estate was something I had thought about since
my son was young. When the time was right, I made the leap and haven't looked back since!
